What do you offer your clients?
We offer bespoke (custom-made) nutrition plans and exercise routines. Our specialty is working with clients who fall into the class 1-3 obesity categories; however, we can work with anyone who has health and/or fitness goals.
Can you guarantee me results if sign up with you?
This is a great question! We cannot ‘guarantee’ results, as this is very subjective. We can supply you with all the tools you need to make your transformation, but it all comes down to the commitment and dedication you put in. If you follow our guidance and commit to your goal, then you will see what you are truly capable of! However, being complacent and not following the guidelines will impair your results.
When will I start seeing results?
There are many factors that influence your results during your transformation. Your physical starting point, prior exercise activities undertaken, age, gender, any medical issues, compliance and dedication to your program are just some of the areas that will dictate your results.
Most people will start to feel an increase in cardiovascular endurance after a few weeks, along with some improvement in muscular strength. After approximately 4-6 weeks, you should start noticing changes in the mirror. It is not a sprint, rather a marathon, when it comes to improving body composition, so experiencing instant results is not a healthy expectation.
If I sign up for your program, what am I expected to do?
Upon registering your interest and having a video consultation, if you are happy to proceed, payment will be taken, and you will be sent all questionnaires, disclaimer files, etc via our app to complete. Once I receive these back, I will review them and create your custom program.
Once I have completed your workout and nutrition programs, I will send them to you for review. If you are happy with them, we will commence with your program. We will have a weekly consultation of your choice (video, message etc) to review your progress and make any adjustments, if needed.
I have been diagnosed with mental health/illness or an eating disorder, can you still work with me?
Absolutely! If you click here for my ‘about us’ page, you will see that I personally have been diagnosed with anxiety/depression and a binge eating disorder, alongside dealing with alcohol abuse.
I understand the struggles that people face with these life-changing diagnoses and/or disorders, and I feel this gives me a unique perspective to work with you. I must stress that I am NOT trained nor licensed as a psychiatrist or psychologist, so I cannot diagnose, treat or dispense medication for any reason.
If you feel you are struggling with any issues, please seek out the relevant assistance you require. I can work alongside any services you access to ensure that you receive the best possible care.
I am a beginner when it comes to healthy eating/exercise, is your program suitable for me?
Of course! I work with people from all walks of life. I specialize in working with people who fall into class 1-3 obesity category, who generally have limited experience/knowledge in healthy eating and exercise.
Your program will be custom-made for you and your current situation, so rest assured that you can begin your transformation, whatever your starting point may be.
Will I have to attend a gym for my exercise program?
Generally, I would say yes. The reason for this is because most of my clients have difficulty with self-regulation, so most people will become complacent if offered the chance to workout at home.
I want you to achieve the best transformation you can and by accessing a gym, you can use a vast array of equipment, and also have the staff of the gym help you in-person should you require any. An at-home workout can be made for you, but this will be discussed with you during our video call upon registering.
I’m worried that I cannot do the exercises you have given me correctly, can you help?
If you feel that you are not competent in a particular movement, then we can discuss this prior to your commitment to the program.
However, inside our app, you can access video demonstrations for all your given exercises should you need any assistance. You can also send me videos of you doing a particular exercise and I can assess your form, and give you relevant feedback on any improvements to be made.
How often will I have to train?
This will depend on what you feel is comfortable for you around your current work/life schedule. Some people wish to only train 1 day a week, others may want to train every day! The average for most people is 3-4 days a week. We will discuss this upon registering for the program.
Is your plan completely customized for me?
Yes! I take pride in my work and you will see this when it comes to your plan. Once I receive all the necessary information from you via a lifestyle questionnaire, I will tailor your program based on your answers. It takes a long time to create a custom plan; this is not a ‘one size fits all’ plan that you can find on the internet.
What will be in my nutrition plan?
Within your nutrition plan, daily protein, carbohydrate and fats intake will be indicated. I will also suggest the ingredients to use for each nutrient group. All meal plans outline meal frequency based on answers provided in the lifestyle questionnaire. I can also offer some healthy and delicious recipes for you to try that fit within your caloric intake.
Can you just tell me what to eat each day so I don’t have to worry about what I eat?
Unfortunately, I am unable to offer this service to you. This is what we call ‘outside my scope of practice’. This means that I am not qualified to prescribe a specific eating plan, as this is a service offered by dieticians, who are qualified in this area.
Dieticians spend many years at degree level to qualify in this area, so if you require a prescribed eating plan then you would need to seek the services of a dietician. This is why I am only able to inform you of daily caloric intakes, how much of each food group you can eat, and offer suggestions on what foods you can cook.
Can you work with people who are vegetarians, vegans etc?
Yes, we do. If you have any specific food/religious requirements to be upheld, then you can list these in your lifestyle questionnaire and we can discuss them during our video call.
I see that you are based in the United Kingdom, do I have to live there to work with you?
No, you can live anywhere in the world! That is the beauty of online coaching. The only requirement from you is that you have a good understanding of English, both written and spoken, to ensure that you can access the full potential of your program without any language barriers.
My job requires me to travel, can I still work with you?
There are many jobs that can require people to travel as part of their occupation. If you do travel frequently, this is not a barrier for you to access my program. We can create a program based around your lifestyle!
How do I log my nutrition and exercise data for you to see?
You can log all your data via our app! It allows you to input your data all in one place, rather than using multiple platforms to achieve this.
How will you be measuring my progress during my program?
This is done via our app. You will be able to record all your metrics there, including scale weight, strength based (weights used in your workouts), body composition (progress photos). This will be discussed with you during your initial video call.
